The Office of Government & Community Relations serves as the University of Rochester’s liaison with the federal government and other D.C.-based associations and groups. The Office works closely with the Executive and Legislative Branches of the federal government, particularly with the New York Congressional Delegation, to advance the University’s priorities, interests and strategic missions.
In addition to monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, the Office serves as a resource to public-policy makers on various issues (health, higher education, research, etc.) and the many benefits resulting from the support the University receives from the federal government.
